Account data (name, email address, login credentials and authentication identifiers); household and financial planning data you enter (household composition, income, expenses, debts, savings, projects and milestones); support and contact messages; usage and telemetry data (pages viewed, features used, AI Copilot requests); technical data (device type, browser, IP address, log data).

3. Why we use it and legal bases

We use account and planning data to create your account and provide the service (performance of a contract); support messages to answer you (contract and legitimate interests); usage, telemetry and technical data to secure the service, prevent fraud and improve the product (legitimate interests); marketing emails only where you have opted in (consent); and we retain records where required by law (legal obligation).

4. Who we share data with

Service providers acting as processors: cloud hosting and database providers, email delivery providers, analytics and support tooling, and AI model providers used to generate Copilot answers. Paddle.com Market Ltd acts as our Merchant of Record and receives the data needed for the sale of our subscriptions, subscription management, payments, invoicing, tax compliance and fraud prevention; Paddle acts as an independent controller for those activities. We may also share data with professional advisers (legal, accounting) and with authorities where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside the UK/EEA. Where data is transferred outside the UK/EEA we rely on adequacy decisions or on Standard Contractual Clauses together with appropriate additional safeguards.

6. Retention

We keep account and planning data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 12 months after closure to allow recovery and to handle disputes. Support messages are kept for up to 24 months. Records required for tax and accounting are kept for the statutory period (usually 6–10 years). After these periods data is deleted or anonymised.
